CoolerMaster sickleflow fan, how to control?

I recently bought the CoolerMaster sickleflow red led fan. This fan is extremely noisy and i can't find a way to control it.

I tried changing settings in my BIOS, and also tried the program SpeedFan. But the fan is still running 2000RPM

I Searched on the internet and they said you have to connect the fan with the included 3 to 4 pin connector.

The 3 to 4 connecter looks like this:

I don't know what to do with it. When i put the 3pin from the fan into the 3pin from the connector + i put the molex into my PSU, will i get control of the fan then?

Solution
The only way to control a 3-pin fan header is to plug it into the motherboard which will reduce the voltage to the fan. 4-pin fan's use what is called PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to control the speed, your fan does not have this and thus is controlled purely by voltage.

If you have it plugged into the 3pin to 4pin adapter you showed, you have no control over the voltage and thus cannot change the speed. If you plug it into your motherboard, you then get to control it's speed by changing settings in the bios to intelligently change the voltage going to the fan.

There are also fan controllers which will automatically or manually change the voltage to a set of fans that plug into the module. If that is something you may be looking for look it up. I think you can find them rather cheap. Some have a simple turn nob which will adjust speed.
 
One more thing:

Those fans are sleeve bearing. That means when they are mounted horizontally in the case [------------],
they will often produce a terrible noise. They are meant to be mounted vertically because their bearing performs badly in a horizontal configuration.
 



My 3-pin Fan is now plugged into Chassis fan connector on the motherboard. When i change the settings of the chassis on my BIOS, nothing will change. My RPM is still going 2000RPM
 


Your motherboard cannot read RPM because there is no sensing pin for it to read speed. It can just output different voltages.

Can u recommend a more quiet, and controllable fan for me?
 
AF120's are good. Corsair makes a good fan. But that is just an example. There are many good ones. Just read reviews and go for high quality bearings. Sleeve bearing is the one to run from. Super cheap, dies early, makes a lot of noise in a lot of situations.

This one should be a good choice?
But it still says that is makes 25db sound.
Is this fan controllable?
