So I've got a coolermaster Storm sf-17 and I use it to cool my ASUS ROG GL-702VM. It's a bulk of a laptop. The laptop is on the cooling pad for nearly the whole day and the metal sheet on the top above the fan is bent which interrupts with the fan. The cooling pad is made to stand the weight of the laptop of such kinds but the majority cooling pads I've used, ive had the same issue.
The metal sheet bends because of the laptop.
Is there any efficient way of fixing it or maybe removing the problem completely.

The laptop should sit on the rubber strips along the sides and top. Nothing should be contacting the metal mesh that's over the fan.

To straighten the metal back out, turn the cooler over and remove the fan, find 2 appropriately sized 2x4s one under the mesh, one on top, and give the top 2x4 a couple hits with a hammer and it should straighten out against the lower 2x4.
