Just curious if a cooler master v8 would fit inside a cougar mx200 mid tower case?

no it won't, the V8 cpu cooler dimensions are 120 x 128 x 161.1mm

Ok awesome, that's what I was assuming anyway's being I couldn't locate the dimensions for the case itself.
