You can spend almost $500 on a high end cpu & gpu combo, but can't be bothered to spend even 1/5 of that on a decent power supply?

That's a unit intended for home/office use, not gaming PC loads.

Plus, your choice of case isn't so good for airflow: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/phanteks-eclipse-p300-case,5244.html

[It's the P400, but it doesn't improve upon the P300 at all, so this video is still valid.]

The bad thing is the blower will scream while keeping the card cool. The good thing is that screaming loud blower exhausts the GPU's hot air directly out of the case so at least it will not add to the heat load on CPU cooling.

But whether it's all good or not assumes the case allows enough air in so the case fans won't be sucking on a vacuum instead of drawing cool intake air up to the CPU so it's HSF can do it's job.

I didn't watch that whole video linked above, but Steve usually provides some suggestions for mods to products he scorches for bad design. If he did for that case I'd pay attention.

And I kind of disagree with it being 'last gen' tech. HBM really is future gen from the sounds of it, just expensive. AMD had to go with it for the older GPU's until Navi was ready... I kind of wonder what HBM on Navi would be like.
