Cooling and power

I have a fan that doesn't run.

Ive no idea how to troubleshoot this or what information you need so ill go ahead and just give you all I know.

Fan connector has both a 4 pin (to which my mobo had no avaliable slots left) and a double sided (male and female) two prong molex connector. I have it connected to another molex which is succesfully delivering power to another fan.

Please and thank you for any help. If ive not provided the right or enough info let me know and ill try to reply with what you need

Try using another connector. If that doesn't work, just get another fan.

Can you plug the 2-pin molex into a different molex plug?

The wire crimping is not of the highest quality on those molex connectors. I've had them even separate the first time I plugged them into a supply connector, like the wire used was too small (gauge 20-22) for the connector which looks like it would be more happy with 16-18 gauge wire. it is very common to find those not working even when they are new, heh
