Here is the build:

GIGABYTE Z97X-UD3H
INTEL CORE i7-4790K
CORSAIR 2X8GB Vengeance DDR3 1866MHz
WD 1024GB 64MB SATA III Black
SAMSUNG 120GB 2.5" 840 Evo
GIGABYTE GTX780Ti (N78TOC-3GD)
COOLER MASTER ELITE 431 BLACK SIDE WINDOW
CORSAIR 850W RM

The case has a built-in 140mm fan in the front. I am planning to get 3 extra 120mm fans. Will they be necessary?

Solution
Depends, get at least one fan for exhaust so that hot air is not recirculated (try to have more exhaust than intake). I personally use only one 120mm exhaust fan and my computer has been absolutely fine temperature wise even in gaming, so if its just for gaming then no. If you are gonna buy a cooler and start overclocking things then yes, you should consider getting more fans.
Though I can't tell you this for sure, check your temps while in game to see whether they are too high.

On a side note, a quality 650W PSU will power a single 780ti with no problems: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1650xxxb9

The front and bottom fans will be intake. The rear and top fans will be exhaust. Is this ok?
P.S. The PSU is on the bottom of the case.
