Solution Mr5oh Feb 20, 2015 I used a 212 EVO on my 3570K (essentially the replacement for the 2500K), did 4.5 Ghz no problems. My 4690K seems to run hotter, but after lapping the base of the 212 EVO, is doing great. For the price it's hard to beat it.
