cooling issue

Hi guys

My friend gave me a Geforce3 Ti-500 graphic card few days ago. It works pretty well compare to my G4-mx that came with the computer when i bought it. While trying out the card, i found out that it gets quiet hot after turn on the computer for a while. Is this normal?
<p.s>The card has heatsink on the memory chips

Yep.

If there's a cooling problem, you'll know it. The card will show artifacts in games and would probably crash the system, as well.
