Cooling on i5 4690k

OK, so I have a 4690k and I checked the temperature a few weeks ago and it was somewhere in the mid 20s (in celsius). I just checked today and the temperature was at 32 degrees without any overclocking or excessive load. I just added a hard drive to my build the other day but I don't think that's the problem. Just curious as to why this would happen since all the fans are going and everything is virtually the same as it was before.

Maybe its a warmer day today? Or perhaps your hard drive is creating a dead spot in the case. I'ts nothing to worry about really, high load temperatures are worse than high idle temperatures.

I'd agree with Alpha3031, the hard drive could possibly be affecting airflow if it's in front of an intake fan. More likely the ambient temperature changed. I've seen 20c differences in the same house between pc's just based on varying ambient temps in one room to another.
