Gaming performance is certainly the biggest weak point at the moment and this is where we had the most problems. Basically, it is not easy for users to find out whether there really is a native version or whether the game is emulated.
We were not able to carry out all of our standard tests because there were some problems. On the one hand, there were image errors at higher details (e.g. Total War Pharaoh) or crashes (e.g. X-Plane, Shadow of the Tomb Raider), but many titles simply did not start at all. These include, for example, F1 23, F1 24, Prince of Persia: The Los Crown or Far Cry 5. In Cyberpunk 2077, the game also occasionally crashed. We will be testing more titles in the next few days.
The Qualcomm chip supports what is known as automatic super resolution. Basically, the game is upscaled with AI support, so you can select a lower resolution, theoretically without any graphical loss. We will also be testing this in the next few days.
The gaming performance falls behind the other iGPUs and in general it must be said that the Snapdragon laptops are only suitable for gaming to a very limited extent.
