Question Copper pads in Palit GPU - was this installed by manufacturer?

Hi peeps, first post here.

I bought a used Palit 3060 Dual OC from eBay, it arrived boxed. But upon inspection I can see that it has been put through some heavy use, possibly mining. I tested it on a couple of PCs and in both it kept on crashing whenever a 3d load was put through it.

I can see there are copper pads installed so it looks like it was opened by previous seller to do the copper mod. I raised a return and the seller is saying that the copper was there when he bough it brand new!
Can someone please advise if Palit's have copper pads? It looks like a DIY job to me - please see the link below.
If you can send me a picture of what your's looks like that would be much appreciated.
Thanks

thank you both, appreciate the prompt responses here!
Yes obviously I want to return it but seller is making it difficult.

After looking at stock pictures I realised that the one I have has extra heatsinks fitted on the back - any ideas why they may have done this?

there's not a lot going on that pcb on the back side, certainly nothing hot. there certainly not enough to warrant those double tape adhesive alu heatsink slabs. They're not stock, you can buy them for just a few bucks in almost any electronics hobby shop. You'd normally saw off the lenght that you need and double tape it over the chip you needed to cool.
