Copy and Paste problem

Hello,
When I try to copy and paste new information, the old information still comes up when I paste?

This happening all over the place or in certain applications? Is it only showing you the old info or new as well? Are you using Crt C or right-click and select Copy? What data/file are you copying? Try to reboot and try again after that?
