Copy Harddrive

Help! I need to copy all of my hard drive to my new drive... but when I do it i cant boot off my new drive... I used windows. If you could please help me with the dos command to copy everything. I just need like copy c: d: ... but that only copy's the files in C: and no dir's. Thanks.

Try Norton Ghost or PQ's DriveImage.

Actually there is an easier way: if you got a floppy disk with your new drive, it probably has a utility which allows you to transfer a disk image from one drive to another. If you don't have the floppy you can download the MAXBLAST.EXE utility from their site -- http://www.maxtor.com/Maxtorhome.htm
Very important: the destination partition must be at least equal to or larger than the source partition.

This works, and is the easiest way.
