Want to copy files etc fom my "D" drive to an external 5TB Segate. Done this B/4 but so slow. Any way to do it easier & quicker than copy & paste.

How much data is on it?

External containing what?

A standard spinning hard drive?

A 2.5 inch SSD?

An M.2 NVME?

5 TB capacity...I'm guessing it's a spinning hard drive, possibly very slow 5400 rpm?

Upgrading any HDD to SSD will help, upgrading dram less SSD to Dram equipped SSD will help more. Specs on your system will help us the most.
