Question Copy issues

Hi there,

when I copy a movie from my PC to my portable HDD, the movie is frequently not complete.

Even the copy window of win explorer closes at 100%.

When I play it on my tv, it just stops 10 minutes or so before the end.

What size are these files?

What model? What file system - FAT or NTFS ? Any error messages?

Sorry I almost forgot my post.

Files are in GB range since I mostly copy .mkvs in HD quality to my portable harddrive. Between 5-20 Gigs mostly.
I use WD Elements portable. NTFS. No errors.

I using Teracopy to transfer files. Results are much better. But still I wait some time before disconnecting after copy is completed.

Have you watched the movie prior to copying? and was it complete?

All movies are complete and stored on Hardrive. I just copy for watching on tv.
