Copy ntfs files to fat32

Hello,
I copied 13GB data from my laptop which runs windows vista to a sd card with fat32 that i installed on my laptop recerntly. after a while my explorer wac closed and the process stoped and suddenly it went to restart.
after the restart 4GB of my data disappeared.
now...what should i do?

where did it disappear from - the laptop, or the SD card?

did you have any files over 4GB? Fat32 is limited to 4GB file sizes.
