I have a laptop with a 1tb hdd boot drive and a 120gb ssd. I have a ton of games on the hard drive and have almost filled it up. However, I would like to copy just the os onto the ssd, leaving all the ames intact on the hdd. I would prefer not to redownload all the games i have on it (~600 gb) because I have a bandwidth cap. I'm running win 8 if that helps
Thanks in advance
Steve

There is only one application I am aware of that purports to clone 'only the OS'.
Paragon Migrate - http://www.paragon-software.com/technologies/components/migrate-OS-to-SSD/
Not free. I've never tried it, but apparently results are iffy.

Games, if Steam, can be moved thusly:

I know you're not actually 'moving them', but the general concepts still work.
