Copy paste problems

I connect my phone to my laptop and as usual i m trying to copy some videos from my phone to my pc... bt its not working and nothing is showing... i trying cut paste bt it also not working.. when i cut that item its working bt paste option is not working... tell me the solution

I don't know if this will help you....and I don't even know why it happened....but I had a PC that wouldn't copy and paste....so what I used to do is open two windows of file explorer side by side and "drag and drop" and that worked.
