Copy paste stops working after some time

Hi,

I have a user in my office who has the issue where her copy and paste functions stop working after a few hours. This is both with the keyboard shortcuts and using the right-click menu and affects all programs. You simply can'y copy or paste anything whether it's plain text or a document. A restart of Windows sorts the issue but obviously this is very inconvenient for the user as she has to stop mid-task and can lose track of where she was up to.

Any suggestions on what to try?

copy/paste functionality is provided by a windows feature called clipboard.
most likely an app locks the clipboard and prevents it from working.
