Discussion copy software

I was surprised, wanted to copy a large num,ber of files from the PC drive to a usb 3 external drive.

Using a couple of fast copy type programs, data rate around 30mb/sec
Used FileSync resulted in 40mb/sec

any comments ?

Such things can go either way....

Could have just as easily been a slower 20 mb/sec.

Many factors involved.

For you the factors were favorable.
