Copying dvd's

I have a dvd from my holiday and i want to copy it for my friends to dvd or
vcd. I have windows xp but iam unable to work it out. I was hoping someone
could help.

WinXP does not come with the ability to view DVDs or burn them. You have to
buy software for that.

You're going to have to use some third party software..... the following
will do what you want:

VideoWave v7 - part of Roxio EMC v7 and 8 http://www.roxio.com
NeroVisionExpress - www.nero.com
WinDVD Creator v2 - www.intervideo.com
PowerDirector/PowerProducer www.gocyberlink.com
