Copying Large Files

I have a 4.9GB file saved on my tablet i plug it in my PC i see the file but as soon as i try to copy it freezes or shows not responding. Any advice. Using windows 10. Thank you.

Try a different USB port. If you're using the front USB ports try the USB ports on the back.

If you can't copy it directly, then try to copy it to some external storage first (pendrive, external hdd). If that doesn't work then you can try to transfer it over local network.

I often move 1 and 2 terabyte files on my PC with no problem, so a 5 gb file seems awfully small. Try a different USB jack or device.
