[SOLVED] Copying select files from an old Windows 10 to a new Windows 10

Hi everyone,
I didn't seem to find a post about my specific situation. Most of what I see that alludes to my problem is about copying all files AND the OS from one drive to another, while in my case all I want is to retrieve specific files such as .pdf, .jpeg, .mp3 and such.

So, to give more context:
  • I got a new PC with two drives, one has Windows 10 Pro, the other has Ubuntu.
  • I have another SSD lying around, available for use, but that already has a Windows 10 Home version installed on it.
  • I want to get specific files, such as images, contracts, music and videos from it
  • Then I want to wipe it clean, and use it with my primary, current, SSD which has Windows 10 Pro on it

How can I achieve this? Would it be as simple as plug -> copy desired files to right disk -> wipe -> etc?

Solution
Sure.
Create a new folder in the target drive, find what you're looking for, copy/paste.

If these are in the built in Libraries, copy just the files, not the entire Library folder.
