Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2ghz Vs Intel G645 2.9ghz :)

I need to know which one is better out of the 2, G645 DUAL CORE or a E4500 Core2Duo ?

Some people say core2duo is the fastest (2 core processor) & some say G645 is latest and better than E4500 ??

What is going on ? can all of you please share a little expertise.....

Only been 20 minutes. People respond for fun on their own time, so you have to be a bit more patient.

Here's a pretty good comparison. They didn't have the G640, so that would be about 8% faster than the G620 shown here: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/65?vs=406

Upgrading to a Sandy Bridge Pentium should be good for about a 50% boost across nearly every application.
