Core 2 duo E7400 with Fortnite?

Can I play Fortnite using a GT 630 with 4gb RAM Dual Channel and a Core 2 Duo E7400? Could it harm my motherboard or another component?

It would not harm any of your hardware if they are compatible, but the cpu will bottleneck the system. I suggest upgrading to 8gb of system memory.

Thanks for answer bro. And do you reccomend that update to Q8400 is the better option? I'm searching the better processor for play games and anything else.
I saw that the Q6600 takes a lot energy.

I suggest going all the way to an i5 8400 processor if you have the budget.

The problem is the motherboard, is an a G31M-S and won't hold that processor 🙁

Sorry I didn't mention this. You will also have to upgrade your motherboard to a Z370, H370 or B360 chipset.
