sorry guys bother u all..im just noob on this OC stuff.. i kno nothin..i wanna share u this..kinda woundering too..yesterday i bought CORE2 DUO E 7500 to replace my old PENTIUM D 2,66 ghz..i change the mobo too.. cheap one..ASUS P5KPL AM-SE..flash the latest bios and see what's in bios..and surprisingly i got my bios said..'RATIO STATUS : UNLOCKED (MAX 11, MIN 06) and i was stunt see that..i never knew theres any E7500 unlocked. see this guys.....http://www.facebook.com/balds.gcs?ref=profile#/photo.php?pid=30645153&id=1144323313..so i was like stunt see this..so i do some stuff like sett the OC..and i come up with 3,54 ghz and fsb 1288 mhz..run cool too..32-34 c in idle..40-45c on full load..(im not do any test yet) im seing that only on my multy tasking stuff ..have you guys see version of E 7500 unlocked??? and is my OC safe like that?

Intel Core2Duo E7500 Specs

its not unlocked, 11 is the normal multi it uses, if it had unlocked multi's you would be able to go up to about 25

anybody can change the multi, just not up (unless its an extreme edition)

to test if the OC is ok, get a temp monitor and prime95

also if you are using auto volts, go to the overclocking section and check out the Core2 overclocking guide so you do this right
