which are the best processor between dual core and core 2 duo processor.
which processor are best for online application.

if buyng new, these are old cpu's. "core 2" is the model of processor(old model) "duo" means it has 2 cpu cores (dual core.). Having said that a core 2 duo is fine for online web browsing.

All Core 2 Duo are dual cores, but not all dual cores are Core 2 Duo . Are you referring to the "Pentium" dual cores?

"Dual Core" is a generic term used by both AMD and Intel.

Core 2 Duo (C2D) is the series of Intel CPUs which came after the Pentium D series and before the current Core i (i3, i5, i7) series.
