Motherboard Intel Q35/ICH9D0 Express Chipset
will ddr3 ram work with my mother board?

im also upgrading it with a 320 gb hardrive and radeon hd 5450 but i need to know if ddr3 ram works with it before i buy 3 gb more ram

HI

DDr 2 and DDR 3 have notches in different places so it is not possible to fit them into the wrong slot. I think your motherboard supports both.
take note that when installing new memory that manufacturers state that identical memory should be used.
