Kind of a waste of money, $210 is nearly half the cost of a new motherboard, chip, and ram.
Q6600 is still a viable chip, 3.2-3.6 Ghz is quite easy with a decent cooler. A high end cooler would let you push it to 4.0 or higher.
For $70 something link a Noctua DH-14 or a Phanteks cooler would beat out most liquid coolers. Might be able to squeeze an h60 or eqivalent closed loop cooler for 70 as well.
