I daily drove these parts for years before giving them to a family member once they couldn't run the latest games any more. Now that person has a whole new modern rig and these parts are back with me. I decided to clean them up and assemble them into something that's fun to look at and for the enjoyment of simply owning it. So far I've bench marked it with 3DMark, ran a few old games, and listened to music with its timeless Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Pro. Currently it spends most of its time always on and running the volunteer computing program BOINC. The specific projects are einstein@home, milkyway@home, and climateprediction.net.

The computer lives on top of a desk I had custom made to my size (how high I sit, how long my reach is etc). Both it and the main battle station are plugged into a LG UltraGear 34" 21:9 Curved 3440x1440 monitor. I have the mouse, keyboard, and speakers plugged into a Level One 4-port KM switch so I can switch all 3 from one computer to the next with the press of a button.

And finally for anybody that's wondering the answer is yes. Yes it can.

Very nice build! I still have my Q9550+Asus Rampage Extreme X48 but perched up on a shelf for posterity's sake. I miss that era of Creative soundcards that blew everything else out there, out of the water.

Which version of the Heritage did you get? Standard or the Pro? Speaking of cases, what other case were you looking at prior to landing on the Heritage chassis?

Thank you for sharing this with us!
