Core 2 t7100 vs t8300 vs t8100

How does the core 2 t7100 compare to the t8100 and how does the t8100 compare to the t8300. Just acquired a used laptop with a t7100 and can't decide weather to upgrade to the t8100 or the t8300. I'm only putting $25 worth of upgrads in this laptop since it's six years old. I can get the t8100 for around $6 and I can get the t8300 for around $15. The left over budget is going towards ram upgrade.

The T8000 range is a newer family of processors than the T7000 range.
The only difference between the 8100 and the 8300 is 300MHz of clock speed.
