Core Graph Problem

I have intel i7 2600 quad core processor.
When I used windows7 and went to "Task Manager"-->"Performance", I used to see 8 cores including logical and there was a graph which was being shown in all the cores.
Then after launching windows8 I installed windows8 on my pc. But when i came back to windows7, all was as it used to be but there are no graph showing in the 4 logical cores. please help... what is the problem... from then whenever i install windows7 i am facing this..
