Core i3 4160 vs fx 6300

I am sorry for posting a new thread with same content but I am confused as I saw many many posts and many videos that shows the amd better than the i3 and I know that i3 is better than the fx inthe games that requires single thread but in games that requires mmany cores the fx beats the i3 despite of hyperthread (as I saw in many videos) so anyone tried the 2 Processors in gaming or someone has a precise benchmark that shows the difference between them in muti core games can you answer me and thank

if you can upgrade to an i5 in like a year get the i3 and a decent z97 mobo if you are going to build a pc and want to stick with it for longer then go with the fx6300

I had a 6300 rig, currently have an i3 rig, for gaming pick the i3, it's faster, newer and you will be able to upgrade to i5 or i7 without switching mobos.

@clfz : thank you for your reply but are you sure that i3 perform better as i saw in BF4 the fx 6300 perform better there and if you triggered there fps changing whats the between them

i3 is considered as a quad core by windows, the 4160 has the same clock as the 6300, any game will be running on this, I didn't test bf4, just bf3 and has pretty nice gameplay.

Just go on youtube and type in fx 6300 vs i3 4160 and there will be videos showing the difference in fps in many games

Here is an i3 review that just happens to use a 280x. The i3 beats the FX6300 in every game and even beats the FX8350 in most games including BF4
