Hello,

I currently have a mini PC Zotac EN760 with core i5-4200U and would like to know if I can upgrade the CPU to Core i7-4578U? They both share the same socket type BGA1168.

I found out about the Core i7- 4578U CPU on the link below which says they should be compatible. If I purchase the Core i7-4578U and install it, is that all I need to do? Or do I need more upgrades in order to make it work properly?

There shouldn't be any issues with other hardware right?
I have NVIDIA GTX860M 2gb, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.

Solution
You can't swap out the CPU, BGA means the CPU is soldered onto the motherboard. With extreme small form factor systems like this, you have no upgrade options, what you get initially is what you're stuck with until you buy an entirely new one.
