i wanted to buy a new processor but i have not thought between i5 or i7

If your PC will be used mainly for serious gaming, get the i5-6600k.

If your PC will be used mainly for serious multi-tasking, 3D/video rendering/editing, get the i7-6700k.

If it's 50% gaming, 50% multi-tasking, get the i7-6700k.
