Hlw guys. I bought a new i7 6700k with asus maximus hero 8 and Corsair H110i GTX. Fact is my idle temp is 32-35 and full load temp is around 50-56. is it too high?? my room temp is around 29.

I just bought a 6700k too. I had the worst time with my voltages OOTB. The MB on AUTO CPU Core Voltage had the voltages from 1.36 to 1.41. I have it currently running stable at Adaptive with 1.300 (after testing manual at that voltage) with an 4.6 GHz OC.

My idle temps were pretty high before that (like yours), I thought my H100iv2 was to blame. Once I cleaned up the voltages the idle temps went down. The Corsair hid the voltage issues from me, since, although my temps never got out of control, they werent really where I thought they should be.

56 as a maximum sounds pretty darn good to me, but again, I am pretty new to this. I currently am 8...

56 as a maximum sounds pretty darn good to me, but again, I am pretty new to this. I currently am 8 hours into stress testing with a maximum of 63 now that I fixed the voltages. I read somewhere in the threads yesterday, low to mid 70s is perfectly acceptable under full load depeding on stress test, once you cross 80, your now in the danger zone.

Those temps are good :)

You are fine with these temps. Do go over 80c and you will be fine. But if you wanna try lowering the temp a little more . Try lowering the voltage little by little every time and stress test after than. What's your temps? Is you CPU stable at idle?if it is not stable higher the vote until it is stable. Hope this helped
