What are you using to get your temps though? I found the temps in my OCCT and Core temp were different. OCCT was higher.

In OCCT I idle around 55-58C and MAX (100% on all 8 HT cores for an hour) I hit 85C. Still well under the 100C max. Although Coretemp reads a little lower. Idle it is around 49-53C and MAXes during OCCT at about 83C.

Your temps are fine. I am using a Thermalright U-120 eXtreme 1366 and have Great case airflow.

BTW, the V8 is a really REALLY sweet cooler. My buddy put it in a build a few weeks ago and we just drooled over it, it just looks cool to.

I'm doing something very similar that seems to be working. It bluescreened when I ran prime95 with turbo on, but with turbo off it seems very stable. note my dram is lower. This is my first OC though so I dunno if it's "good" or not. I'm waiting for feedback of my own 😀

I tried to turn turbo on so i get the 21x multiplier and my temps jump considerably, but it runs stable. However, if I increase my bus with the 20x multiplier my temps are good but not stable. If you are OCing it's just good to turn Turbo off.
