Question core i7/ Xeon question?

i have intel i7 920 lga 1366 cpu from pc years ago that i upgraded the processors from.
yesterday i saw this cheap motherboard on amazon https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09JZN7B52?ref=ppx_pt2_dt_b_prod_image but wording seem little confusing intel core i7/ Xeon.
i guessing it can support both intel core and xeno right?
i bought it anyway but if it doesn't work no biggie. i'm not gaming on it.

I am guessing this is a generic Chinese motherboard. It will probably work. But there is probably no support webpage, little documentation, etc. It is an X58 chipset motherboard. That chipset was released in 2008. So you are buying 10+ year old CPUs.
Not sure what your use-case is (other than "not gaming on it" ), but I wouldn't spend $100 CDN for a motherboard for 10+ year old CPUs.

well the extra lga 1366 cpu i have has been sitting in closet for 8 years. time to put it use. yes that amd board is cheap but i don't have amd processor laying round.

Having a 10 year old CPU in the closet, doesn't mean it is smart to spend money on it. I have an ISDN router, but I wouldn't spend money to use it.

well i got motherboard today and installed the intel i7 920 cpu and it works. had to update the time and stuff and install windows but ya it worked.
over all it boot up fast since i'm using ssd
