Core performance boost

I have amd fx 8320 and gigabyte 970 ud30 mobo

In my uefi dual bios Is turbo core performance and core performance boost same. I want to disable turbo core performance but cant find it but i can see core performance boost.

Will disabling it increase gaming performance ?

It will most likely increase its performance. Turbo is a feature that gives extra power to your CPU when it thinks it needs it, and reduce the amount of power when it thinks it doesn't need it. Sometimes turbo will give your CPU less power when you actually DO need it and you'll get pretty big FPS drops. You'd best go into your BIOS and turn off any power saving features and turn off turbo boost.

If you're looking for extra performance and you have a strong cooler you can manually increase its performance by setting the multiplier to 22 and its voltage to about 1,5V. BEFORE YOU DO THIS IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW IF YOUR CPU COOLER IS GOOD ENOUGH AND YOU HAVE A WELL VENTLATED CASE. Or else you can encounter problems. If you know what you're doing then go into BIOS and set the multiplier to 22 and voltage either at 1.5V or lower at 1.435V with a 20 multiplier, don't set it higher than that. If you don't know what you're doing then ignore this last part.
