gskill 2gbX2 (4gb) ram
gts 250 geforce
samsung 22"monitor
please guide me how i over lock it
n is it good for gaming

don't even bother oc'ing i7's without an aftermarket cooler, temps are high as it is.

why 2x2GB, you should've gotten 3x2GB

GTS 250 isn't great for gaming but it will do.

You really should've gone for an AMD phenom build because now it's gonna suck at gaming compared to if you had built AMD on the same budget.

Should of definately came here before buying anything first.

x58 is Triple Channel memory. 3x2gb or even 3x1gb.



For what your showing, Helloworld is right, AMD would have been a way better pick.

i've always recommended amd when it's needed for the right budget, this OP shows he didn't have the money for it.
