Hi all,

title says it all really. Any clue if it’s the software being over sensitive? My idle is 45C, my graphics cards high was around 60-70C with idle at 50C. Below is the specs:

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU- MSI Radeon 5700XT Thicc III
CPU Cooler - Stock
Case - Fractal Design G Midi

Solution
Given your high idle temps on both CPU and GPU, how is the airflow in your case? How many fans do you have, and how many are intake and exhaust? If everything is caked in dust that also won't help matters. Also what is your ambient temperature? If you are running this PC in a 40 degree celsius heat with no air conditioning, you will have cooling problems if you don't have better cooling than the stock cooler.

If your airflow is okay, then the CPU cooler being improperly mounted or the fan on the cooler not functioning are the next likely culprits.
