Just got new mobo and processor to go with it since my last pair fried.

Got a M5A97 LE R2.0 (Should've gotten the non-LE, I know)

and an FX-6300.

I installed AI Suite II that came with the motherboard as well as Coretemp to monitor my temperatures. I set my bios to "performance mode" and it bumped the clock from 3.5 to about 3.8 ghz.

I'm running Prime95 at the moment, have been for about a half hour now:

Coretemp: ~24 Celcius

AI Suite II: ~37 Celcius

HWMonitor: ~37 Celcius

EDIT: (Also, just installed HWMonitor and it's reading is the exact same as AI Suite's)

Which one is accurate?

Also, when I'm idling (not running Prime95) Coretemp shows I'm only sitting around 10 Celcius, this number seems kinda low, no?

Are the numbers accurate at all? I'd figure for a slightly more than stock overclock it'd at least be somewhat hotter.

Hi,

The most accurate temperature result would be in your BIOS.

Probably an issue with the sensor's or the different software/s are pulling temperatures from different sensors on the board and not the same ones.

I wouldn't worry about it.
