Corners...Blah

I had asked my team to put corners from the left and right (I have great
corner takers) to the far post, but they just seem to go anywhere. I'm sure
this didn't happen before I installed the patch, but it's happening now. I
get John Terry to "stand on far-post" but it's not working a effectively
since the patch. What's the big idea?

One thing I do now use, which I didn't previously, is the targetman feature
because I signed Ibrahimovic. Could this be the reason? Is the corner taker
trying to find him?

It could be "AI". I am using the vanilla version.

It could be the players lacking in discipline or teamwork. When I set
team instructions to play down the flanks to make best use of wingers,
the pitch play always goes through the middle. The numbers for passes
and runs for the wingers does not move. When I switch to play through
the middle or mixed the wingers get more ball.

Player attributes do make a difference. I have 7 or 8 defenders that I
have used throughout the season and not one of them has averaged 2
tackles per game. The midfielders, even the wingers never average less
than 2 a game.

Looking at the attributes the midfielders do have higher ratings for
tackling. Thankfully they know how to score more than we concede. Last
season was F95 A58 to finish 3rd in the division.

This season I shall be most looking for defenders.
