I just read that Gateway Corporate headquarters is moving again. It seems
that the "new" management wants the head offices in Orange County. The
current head office of emachines is too small so it appears that a as yet
unnamed location will be needed.Maybe they could save some money and just
build it in the back of an semi-truck or two and just keep unplugging and
moving around.

Bob and Kathy,

The Poway News Chieftain's lead story for the April 1, 2004 issue is
"Gateway 'likely' to leave Poway".
The article states just what you mentioned. They plan to move to Orange
County. Also, the article states that Gateway will offer to a very large
number of the 550 employees working at the headquarters to work in the new
headquarters.

The article makes no mention of the Gateway stores.
