correct psu for gpu

I have been facing aero animation lag and fluctuating cpu clock while off gaming and while in gaming respectively.happened after 7-8 days after I put my gpu.i think my psu couldn't handle the gpu for more than a week so could somebody tell me just the right psu I should buy but not too expensive

We would ned to know the COMPLETE system specs (Make, Model, ETC) in order to recommend a correctly sized PSU.
