Question Correct RAM Speeds?

I have G Skill Trident Z 3200mhz ram with an ASUS Prime X470-pro motherboard and a Ryzen 2700X cpu. Now in my bios, I enabled the DOCP profile to increase the speed to 3200mhz, but when I look at CPU-Z, Task Manager, and iCUE, all 3 software are showing 1600mhz. Now at one point, my task manager was showing 3200mhz but the iCUE software would always show 1600. How do I fix this? Or is nothing wrong? I'm just worried if I'm not getting the speeds I paid for..

1600mhz x2 is 3200mhz. DDR is "Double data rate", so the reported clock frequency times TWO is the functional speed of the DDR memory module(s).

It is correct. There is not a problem.

each clock cycle the RAM sends and receives data from the CPU, hence the double data rate.
DDR4 4200 will run at 2100
DDR 800 ran at 400mhz

So if its showing 1600mhz on Task Manager, iCUE, and CPU-Z, it should be 3200mhz without a doubt?

Yes.

Download HWinfo. Install it. Run it and choose the "Sensors only" option when prompted. Look for the "memory clock" field. If it says 1600mhz, then it is running at 3200mhz.

Your RAM is running at 3200 MHz, those apps read 1/2 of the speed od ddr ram. So when they read 1600 MHz that means your DDRRAM is actually running at 3200 MHz.

Yeah I ran it with Sensors Only and it's showing 1600mhz, so no need to worry then?
