hi everyone, i am having issues getting the full speed of my ram.

specs:
processor: ryzen 7 1700x
motherboard: msi b450 tomahawk
ram: corsair vengeance lpx ddr4 16gb (2x8) 3200mhz

i recently upgraded my ram for my computer. i have updated my bios, tweak the timings for my ram to get as close to 3200mhz , if i can get to 2933 i will be cool with that. i tried using xmp profiles 1 and 2 , with preset times 16,18,18,36. and then i manual set timings and get 2133mhz, which seems to be the default. I've tried everything , maybe i overlooked something.Does anyone have a solution to this please. any help is greatly appreciated .

This particular memory (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16) has been difficult on B450 boards, I've seen a dozen questions on it the last month or so. It is not on the QVL for your board and so will take some extra work. I would start by trying 16,18,18,36 at 2400MHz with 1.35V, if that fails lower the speed to 2133MHz. Once it runs then we'll work on getting it up from there. You can also increase the voltage up to 1.4V, but that would be my limit.

Solution
Okay after using the timings 16 18 18 18 36, and changing d'ram voltage to 1.4, and using 2400 MHz, it my speed stayed at 2133.

if the speed can't be increased, what would be compatible ram to get?

can anyone recommend compatible ram for a B450 tomahawk. after looking up my current ram , it is not compatible and trying everthing to fix the low speed. i'm just gonna buy new ram. any suggestion?
