hey
Im in the process of building my first PC, i expect to be able to start friday, but im still unsure about the correct way to connect the fans to the Motherboard.
This is the Motherboard i am getting: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B650-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-10-11/support#support-dl
It is also in the title. i want to use these fans: https://www.arctic.de/P12-PWM-PST-A-RGB/ACFAN00231A
Im aware that the are 2 connecters on each Fan. 1 4pin and 1 3 Pin, in the Manual of the MB there are 2 3pin connectors. D-Led1 and D-Led2. Each have 5a and 5v, am i Reading that correctly? (Because that is alot, ive read Guides and they say 1 3pin usually is 1a)
Asuming those are 5 Ampere, i could use a splitter and connect all 6 Case Fans into either D-Led1 or 2,
Because the RGB part of each Fans runs with 0.4 Ampere (12 Led each) and 6*0,4 <5. I could also use 1 4 Pin headers for all 6 Fans, because that Part is 0,11a and 6*0,11a is less than 2 Ampere. But i could also Split the 4 Pin Connection (there are 6 4pin pwm Fan Headers in the MB) If i want to controll different subsets of the Fans individually (Like having the 3 Front Fans Spin at the same speed and the topside Fans use a different speed)
Then asuming i would connect all 6 fans into D-Led1 i could use D-Led2 for the Video Card (Saphire Nitro+ 7900xtx) because the RGB part of that Card requieres a 3 Pin as well,
I think my Logic is correct, however im Not entirely Sure, and i want to be 100 Sure before i start building, and the Fans are the Last Missing piece
Thank you for Reading
