I upgraded & put windows 10 on around 2 weeks back... First few days network seemed fine, it updated I get the DNS Client event error now & why mess with it when 7 worked... I have no idea how the dvd got corrupted, it has been in the case since I got it...

Hi

Exactly which error message did you get?
Then google it for information on cause

If windows 10 worked for a few days it is unlikely the windows dvd is corrupt as you would have got an error meaasge during the installation process
Assuming a genuine copy of windows 10 and not a pirate version

It Could be problem with ethernet device driver

Are you using windows 10 version or one from motherboard driver disk or motherboard web site or still using one from windows 7?
