Question Corrupt OS system? I can't use my Microsoft account and the computer keeps putting me into a local/temp account.

I try to reset my PC and when it finishes it processes it and asks me to sign in with my account. I type in my password and then it says something like User service failed. I manage to get back into my PC but then it keeps putting me in a temporary account, I have followed multiple tutorials of going into the regedit and going to the profile list to delete the temp account and remove the ".bak". But whenever I restart my computer the temp account keeps on coming back. Is there a solution?

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

What was the original reason for resetting your PC and how was that reset done?

Also: stay out of the registry. Registry changes are a last resort and should only be attempted after a full system backup including the Registry itself.

Plus, allowing Registry edits that change passwords would be a security risk.

Don't "reset".
Full wipe and reinstall.
